CCEF in TCC

For the last 50 years, the mission of the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation (CCEF) has been to “restore Christ to counseling and counseling to the local church.” They train pastors, counselors and ministry leaders to work skillfully in the biblical care of souls. To this end, CCEF’s School of Biblical Counseling (SBC) offers affordable graduate-level distance learning. Online courses are taught by professors at Westminster Theological Seminary from their Master of Arts in Counseling (MAC) program, and cohorts of students are guided and graded by trained instructors.

Since CCEF introduced a new framework for their international work (for the better in may ways!) in 2024, Crossing longer partners CCEF in a formal way as before. However, we are very still supportive of CCEF and their courses. We seek support our members in their undertaking of CCEF, connecting them with mentors, their cohorts and also past students to create a community for mutual upbuilding.

TCC CCEF Mentors

Kenneth Lo & Delwyn Goh are the coordinators for CCEF Courses in Crossing & partnering churches. Kenneth completed MAC with WTS & Delwyn completed DBC & 7 CCEF courses. Vivian & Mabel who benefitted from DBC also avail themselves to mentor and support TCC students. Besides sharing resources like text books and tips for getting the most out of the course, we organise physical meet ups for students to discuss the course materials and enjoy fellowship.
